About Me
If you don’t know who I am, that’s okay and even perfectly acceptable. I’m just a girl who’s been watching horror movies for as long as she can remember. The first movie I ever saw was A Nightmare on Elm Street followed closely by The Exorcist. Since then I’ve turned more towards the straight to DVD genre along with a lot of modern movies that most people would disregard.Ever saw a movie at the rental place and thought, “who the hell would watch that?” The answer is simple: me. I’ll watch anything and everything regardless of what it might be. The sad thing is that I can usually find some redeeming factor in every movie.Lately I’ve been going through a foreign phase so you might notice a large number of foreign horror films being reviewed. I’ll try to even it out so you get a nice mix of movies on here, but I can’t promise anything…
I also work full-time as a freelance writer, but Horror Queen is my baby. My other work is much more mainstream, appearing on Kidica, Tool Box Tales, Zonder’s travel guide, Wikiname, The Baby Bin, Dream Wheels and even the Software website. If you couldn’t tell, my interests are a little OCD just like me so I tend to jump around quite a bit. Like I said before, Horror Queen is my baby or pet project if you will. I watch a lot of horror movies so I’ll be updating the page at least once a day and usually 2-3 times a day. When will the insanity stop? When they stop making horror movies and we all know that will never happen!
