HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT II

PLOT
Billy is at his senior prom when he catches his girlfriend Mary Lou going at it with another guy. To get back at her, he drops a stink bomb on her when she’s named prom queen. Unfortunately it causes her dress to burst into flames and she dies. Years later he’s now principle at the same high school and his son is interested in a girl named Vicki. Vicki becomes possessed with the spirit of Mary Lou and sets out to make everyone involved in her death pay.

The movie was considered a box office bomb, it actually made quite a bit of money on DVD and video.
THOUGHTS
I thought of this movie as a one off kind of flick. I figured I’d put in Hello Mary Lou Prom Night II and go about folding the laundry and playing on the computer. Imagine my surprise when I found myself kicking back and laughing my ass for a good portion of the film. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’d heard such bad things about it. Granted this is a pretty bad flick, but it’s also one you can have fun with. I’m just disappointed that I didn’t have a group of friends around to watch it with me. They would have loved it!
